The Employer Solutions Lab is a resource for employers seeking proven solutions to create a healthier workforce and lower overall healthcare costs.

The Lab features solutions implemented and submitted by employers, including employer feedback regarding financial
savings, health outcomes, and lessons learned during implementation. In addition to a basic, easy-to-digest template, many of the solutions include videos, white papers and other background information. Gallup and Healthways Link Worker Well-Being to Positive Work Environment

http://www.well-beingindex.com/Research released from the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being IndexTM reveals that the downward trend in overall well-being appears to be cushioned when workers experience a positive work environment, one where they get to use their strengths, and where their supervisor creates a trusting environment.

Further analysis by Gallup and Healthways researchers has shown that the top contributors to enhanced worker well-being include:
  • Interesting work and development opportunities
  • Social time with family and friends
  • Daily exercise of 30 minutes or more
  • Frequent laughter
  • Overall job satisfaction
