MediNotes Corporation is one of the nations leading provider of Electronic Medical Record systems and aims to assist physicians with the efficiency and documentation within their practice. Many physicians are currently struggling with transcription costs, as well as the amount of paper in their office. MediNotes e helps physicians automate virtually every aspect of their practice.
Solution
MediNotes began by creating PodNotes, an electronic charting system that was designed specifically for Podiatrists in 1995. In the past 10 years, the program has evolved from a very basic documentation package to a comprehensive EMR system that we now know as MediNotes e. The program now offers content for 18 different specialties and helps physicians analyze E&M coding, track information by clinician, analyze treatment plans by diagnosis, query information from the relational database and other key secondary functions enabling more efficient and better allocation of staff.
MediNotes has always been a forward thinking company. We were one of the first companies to embrace the clinical note as the center of the EMR, and created one of the most simple and refined ways to document a patient encounter. As early as 1995, we utilized anatomical graphics in charting to describe the complete anatomical location of a medical condition and today allow for fully annotated digital images to be saved in the patient’s folder and incorporated into the body of the note.
Since our inception, MediNotes has built a relationship of trust and proactive communication with our nearly 9,000 users.
