President Clinton and Newt Gingrich to Deliver Addresses at World Healthcare Innovation and Technology Congress

The 5th Annual World Healthcare Innovation and Technology Congress (WHIT 5.0) being held with NaviNet as lead educational underwriter for the program, proudly announces that former President Bill Clinton will deliver a keynote address. The former President is a powerful voice for progress as he speaks and shares his unique insights and observations with audiences throughout the world.

Former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Newt Gingrich, Founder of the Center for Health Transformation will join WHIT 5.0 to share his unique perspective on how a system-wide approach must be employed to significantly improve the quality and delivery of healthcare. He will discuss “Embracing True HIT Transformation in an Era of Real Health Reform” and give his perspective on transforming healthcare in light of the current efforts to reform the system.

WHIT 5.0 will take place at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center in Alexandria Virginia on November 8-10, 2009. The three day event will attract more than 400 senior leaders from business and government to take part in-depth discussions on cutting edge innovations shaping healthcare delivery.

David Brailer M.D., the first National Health IT Coordinator will deliver a keynote address on how the stimulus funding is going to affect healthcare technology and the delivery of care. Braille will address the Obama administration’s plans to provide billions of dollars in incentive payments to help providers to adopt electronic medical records.
