Innovation Conference To Highlight Latest Healthcare Technology Trends

Alexandria, VA (AHN) - People from government, business and academia will gather to discuss and debate the latest trends in healthcare technology early in November.
The 5th Annual World Healthcare Innovation and Technology Congress will feature thought leaders in healthcare technology during the three-day conference that has a special focus on the impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, event organizers say.
At the Nov. 8-10 conference in Alexandria, Va., participants will hear presentations from more than 100 senior-level speakers including :
- Newt Gingrich, founder of the Center for Health Transformation, and former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives
- David Brailer, MD, chairman of Health Evolution Partners and former and first National Coordinator for Health Information Technology

In addition, two-day seminars will be presented on topics such as:

- Clinical IT Intersection: Advancing Health IT to Provide Efficient Patient Care, and
- Consumer Connectivity: Consumer Engagement through Online Media, Including Social Networking and PHRs.
