Georgia’s Bold Move: Providing Price and Quality Healthcare Information Helps Empower Georgians

The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) recently launched a consumer-friendly Web site which provides Georgians with price and quality health information as well as other health and healthcare information. Several members of the CHT Georgia Team have worked on the project. CHT CEO Nancy Desmond and Georgia Project Director Laura Linn have served on the DCH Advisory Board for Health Information Technology and Transparency (HITT). Right to Know Project Director Wayne Oliver currently assists the department on a wide range of HIT issues including the development of the transparent Web site.
